Cocoa Shell Mulch

 mulch for you! Cocoa shell mulch is derived
from the shell of the cocoa bean. It is dark
brown in color and very light weight.
It is a very good conditioner for your soil. It should
be applied much thinner than most mulches. A 1"
depth is recommended.
In wet conditions it may produce a growth of mold.
This is completely harmless and will go away by
simply scratching the surface of the mulch or
allowing it to dry out. It should not be used in shady
areas where the mulch cannot dry out.
If you have a dog that likes to eat
mulch, you should stay away from this type of mulch.
